Final Fantasy VII Revelation Editions and Price

Final Fantasy VII Revelation costs $69.99 for the Standard Edition, $99.99 for the digital Premium Edition or the physical Deluxe Edition, $109.99 for Premium Plus, $84.99 for the digital Trilogy Edition and $349.99 for the Collector's Edition. Digital pre-orders get the Mecha-Chocobo & Moogle summon; the Square Enix Store's physical pre-orders get Sylph.

Final Fantasy VII Revelation costs $69.99 for the Standard Edition, digital or boxed. Above it sit three digital editions (Premium at $99.99, Premium Plus at $109.99 and the Remake Series Trilogy Edition at $84.99) and two boxed ones (Deluxe at $99.99 and the Square Enix Store's Collector's Edition at $349.99). Pre-orders opened on Sep 3, 2026 on every platform except the Switch 2 eShop, which followed on Sep 9 with the Nintendo Direct segment that plays here. Every digital pre-order comes with the Summoning Materia Mecha-Chocobo & Moogle, and the Square Enix Store gives Sylph with boxed pre-orders instead. This page lists every edition, what it really adds over the one below it, every pre-order and save-data bonus, and which one we would buy. Prices are US dollars as of Nov 7, 2026 unless marked.

Premium Plus Digital $109.99 Everything in Premium, plus a digital mini soundtrack, a digital artbook, Summoning Materia: Polydroid Alexander, Armor: Nymphwing Bracelet, Accessory: Risk Taker's Choker
Remake Series Trilogy Edition Digital (PS5, Xbox, PC) $84.99 Remake Intergrade and Rebirth right away, Revelation at launch, the Mecha-Chocobo & Moogle summon

Collector's Edition Physical, Square Enix Store $349.99 Everything in Deluxe, a statue of Cloud, Zack and Sephiroth, the Story Expansion Pass, the Nymphwing Bracelet, the Risk Taker's Choker, Mecha-Chocobo & Moogle and Polydroid Alexander

Sources: Square Enix, Sep 3, 2026; Square Enix Store (the artbook's 120 pages, the Nymphwing Bracelet's five materia slots).

The Collector's Edition has its own page, Final Fantasy VII Revelation Collector's Edition, with the statue's sizes and where to buy it.

What each step up really buys

We worked out what each edition adds over the one below it, from the US prices:

Step Extra cost What you get for it
Standard to Premium $30 The Story Expansion Pass (two story DLCs and two items) and a day of early access
Premium to Premium Plus $10 Digital artbook and soundtrack, Polydroid Alexander, two pieces of gear
Standard to Trilogy Edition $15 Remake Intergrade and Rebirth, playable now
Standard to Deluxe (physical) $30 Artbook, soundtrack CD, SteelBook; no DLC and no early access
Deluxe to Collector's Edition $250 The statue, the Story Expansion Pass and four in-game items

The $30 step to Premium is mostly a pre-paid season pass. Its two story DLCs are planned between Winter 2027 and Spring 2028, the pass will also be sold on its own at launch, and each DLC alone after its release, at prices not announced as of Nov 7, 2026. Story DLC 1 is named after Sephiroth, heard in this part of the reveal trailer. What is known about both expansions is on Final Fantasy VII Revelation DLC.

We think the $10 step from Premium to Premium Plus is the best value in the list if you were buying Premium anyway, and that the digital Premium is the edition to pick for most players: the boxed Deluxe costs the same $99.99 and has neither the expansion pass nor early access, and every boxed copy needs a download to play anyway (see Final Fantasy VII Revelation Platforms and File Size). The case for the boxed editions is resale and the shelf, not the content.

Pre-order bonuses by store

Every pre-order bonus is a summon, one of the creatures you call into battle, like the Ifrit called in the Summer Game Fest showing at this moment ("summoning Ifrit never gets old"). Which one you get depends on where you pre-order, so here is each store's offer as it reads:

Where Bonus Deadline
PlayStation Store, Steam, Xbox, Epic, Nintendo eShop (every digital edition) Summoning Materia: Mecha-Chocobo & Moogle Apr 7, 2027, 23:59 (PlayStation Store); Apr 8, 2027, 13:59 UTC (Steam)
Square Enix Store (physical) Summoning Materia: Sylph Apr 7, 2027, 23:59
Retailers' Day 1 Editions (physical Standard and Deluxe, some stores) Magic: The Gathering FINAL FANTASY "Final Showdown" promo card, English only, while stocks last Until stocks run out
Amazon Day 1 Edition (physical) The promo card and a folded poster Until stocks run out

Sources: Square Enix, Sep 3, 2026; PlayStation Store, Steam and Square Enix Store, read Nov 7, 2026.

The two official sources differ on what boxed buyers get. Square Enix's press release names Mecha-Chocobo & Moogle as the incentive for digital editions and names no pre-order summon for the Standard or Deluxe boxes; the Square Enix Store's own page gives Sylph to its physical pre-orders. A boxed copy from another retailer, going by those two texts, comes with that retailer's extra (often the promo card) and no summon. Every store says its bonus "may be made available for purchase in future", so missing it is not permanent.

The Collector's Edition lists Mecha-Chocobo & Moogle among its own contents. We expect a Collector's Edition pre-order from the Square Enix Store to come with Sylph as well, since the store offers Sylph on the product page that sells every boxed edition, but Square Enix has not stated that combination in so many words.

Save-data bonuses from Remake and Rebirth

Revelation rewards save data from the first two games, fitting for a sequel that, as IGN's second previewer found, lets you fly back over everything you explored in Rebirth:

Save data from Reward
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Summon Materia: Chocobo & Moogle and the FFVII REMAKE Weapon Skin Set
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Summon Materia: Phoenix and the FFVII REBIRTH Weapon Skin Set

The Square Enix Store's terms add three details: the save data must be on the same console or PC, the same account must be used, and both rewards "will be unlocked upon completing the main game, even without save data". In other words, the save only brings them forward; nobody is locked out of them. Sources: Square Enix, Sep 3, 2026; Square Enix Store.

The Trilogy Edition and the cheapest way in

The $84.99 Final Fantasy VII Remake Series Trilogy Edition is the cheapest way to own all three parts, which IGN's Sep 18 preview describes as one long game with Revelation as its third act. It unlocks Remake Intergrade and Rebirth at once and Revelation on Apr 8, plus the Mecha-Chocobo & Moogle summon. It is sold on PS5, Xbox and PC, not on Switch 2, and it includes neither early access nor the expansion pass.

For comparison, Remake Intergrade and Rebirth are also sold together as a Twin Pack for $59.99, and Rebirth alone has cost $49.99 on PS5 and PC since Feb 9, 2026. The Twin Pack plus Revelation's Standard Edition come to $129.98, so the Trilogy Edition saves $45 against that route. Both older games also offer "Streamlined Progression", an easy setting with unlimited HP and MP, for players who want to catch up on the story quickly. Which games to play first is on Final Fantasy VII Games in Order.

Prices outside the US

Edition UK (PlayStation Store) UAE (Steam)
Standard £69.99 AED 260
Premium £94.99 AED 370
Premium Plus £104.99 AED 410
Trilogy Edition £79.99 Not listed

Read on Nov 7, 2026 from the PlayStation Store (UK) and Steam as seen from the UAE. The UK's step from Standard to Premium is £25 against $30 in the US, so in Britain the expansion pass costs a little less relative to the base game. Store prices differ by country and can change; check your own store.

The boxed editions

The boxed Standard and Deluxe Editions come for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2, with no boxed PC version. The Deluxe Edition's extras, as the Square Enix Store lists them: one mini soundtrack CD in a jewel case, a hardcover "Art of FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION" artbook of 120 pages (13.2 by 17.1 cm), and a SteelBook. The store warns that the artbook contains spoilers and suggests reading it after finishing the game. On Switch 2 the box holds a game-key card rather than the game; see Final Fantasy VII Revelation Switch 2.

Whichever edition you choose, the game itself is the same. GameRiot's team, after an hour with the Gamescom build, put it simply at this point of their video: if you did not like Rebirth, this game is not for you either, and if you loved Rebirth and Remake, it is "the pinnacle of the series". We agree that liking Rebirth is the best guide to whether to pre-order at all.
