The Final Fantasy VII Revelation Collector's Edition costs $349.99 and is sold only by the Square Enix Store, in what the store calls "limited quantities". Its centerpiece is a statue of three SOLDIERs past and present: Cloud, Zack and Sephiroth, the man the reveal trailer shows here telling Cloud "Let us put your faith to the test". Around it come everything in the boxed Deluxe Edition (the game, an artbook, a mini soundtrack CD and a SteelBook), the Story Expansion Pass with both story DLCs, and four in-game items. It comes for PS5, Xbox Series X|S or Nintendo Switch 2, ships for the Apr 8, 2027 launch, and has no PC version. Every other edition is on Final Fantasy VII Revelation Editions and Price.

The statue

The statue puts three figures on one base, each on its own section that can be separated from the others. Zack, who returns in Revelation with more playable scenes than before, is the one most fans will be surprised to see in a box for the trilogy's last part; at this point of the cast's New York Comic Con interview with TV Insider, one of the actors picks Zack's two-word line as a favorite: "Me, Gongaga." The figures, as the Square Enix Store measures them:

Figure Height Weight
Cloud About 170 mm (6.7 in) About 305 g (0.67 lb)
Zack About 180 mm (7.1 in) About 340 g (0.75 lb)
Sephiroth About 200 mm (7.9 in) About 380 g (0.84 lb)
Base 280 x 300 x 30 mm (11.0 x 11.8 x 1.2 in)

The store marks its images "Prototype shown. Actual product may vary from image." Together the three figures weigh about 1 kg (2.3 lb) before the base. At 30 cm wide and deep, the base needs a shelf at least that deep, which is more than most bookshelves give.

Why these three: Cloud is the hero, Sephiroth the villain, and Zack the SOLDIER whose memories Cloud carries, the center of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion. In the same interview the first favorite line named is Cloud's "Not interested", called "a perfect representation" of where he is most of the time, which is also how the statue sculpts him. Who each of them is in this game is on Final Fantasy VII Revelation Characters and Sephiroth in Final Fantasy VII Revelation; their actors are on Final Fantasy VII Revelation Voice Cast.

Sephiroth is the tallest of the three, and in Revelation he has a new voice: Travis Willingham, who replaced Tyler Hoechlin. At this point of the interview his trailer line "Let us put your faith to the test, Cloud" is quoted, and the cast says how glad they are to have Willingham with them.

Everything else in the box

The Collector's Edition is the Deluxe Edition plus the statue and the digital extras. The Deluxe contents, as the store lists them, are a hardcover artbook, "Art of FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION", of 120 pages (13.2 by 17.1 cm), which the store warns contains spoilers and suggests reading after the game; a mini soundtrack on one CD in a jewel case; and a SteelBook case, which "may have minor scratches or scuffs" from manufacturing. Game Informer adds that the game comes with a reversible cover sleeve. The Magic: The Gathering FINAL FANTASY promo card, English only, is in the PS5, Xbox and Switch 2 boxes while stocks last. The store ships the Deluxe contents and the statue together in one carton.

On Switch 2 the box holds a game-key card, a license that downloads the game on first launch and needs at least 130 GB of free storage; on PS5 and Xbox the disc also needs a download. See Final Fantasy VII Revelation Switch 2 and Final Fantasy VII Revelation Platforms and File Size.

The in-game items and the expansion pass

Two of the four items are Summoning Materia, the "mighty summoned entities that can turn the tide of battle" in Square Enix's gameplay introduction: Mecha-Chocobo & Moogle (every digital pre-order also gets it) and Polydroid Alexander (otherwise only in the digital Premium Plus Edition). The other two are the Nymphwing Bracelet, armor with five materia slots, and the Risk Taker's Choker, an accessory. Square Enix has not said what the two pieces of gear do beyond their names. In-game item codes are sent by email, and on PS5 they need a PlayStation Network sign-in.

The Story Expansion Pass is the other half of the value: Story DLC 1, "Sephiroth", and Story DLC 2, "Vincent & the Turks", planned between Winter 2027 and Spring 2028, with the Reclaimant Choker and a Survival Set of early-game consumables at launch. Vincent, introduced here by his actor Matt Mercer as the party's "newest coffin dwelling companion", is the second DLC's lead. The pass will also be sold on its own, at a price not announced as of Nov 7, 2026. What is known about the two stories is on Final Fantasy VII Revelation DLC.

One thing the Collector's Edition lacks: early access. The 24-hour head start on Apr 7 belongs to the digital Premium and Premium Plus Editions only, so a $349.99 buyer starts a day after a $99.99 one.

Is the Collector's Edition worth it?

Subtracting the $99.99 Deluxe Edition it contains leaves $250 for the statue, the expansion pass and four items. If the pass ends up near the $30 that separates the digital Standard and Premium Editions, the statue and items cost about $220. We think that is the honest way to judge it: buy it for the statue. Every in-game item in it can be had in the $109.99 Premium Plus Edition except Mecha-Chocobo & Moogle, which every digital pre-order gets anyway, and Square Enix notes that in-game items "may be sold at a later date".

Where to buy it, and is it sold out?

Only from the Square Enix Store; no other retailer sells it in Square Enix's announcement. As of Nov 7, 2026 the US store still takes orders. Its page shows a "Hurry! Only left" badge with no number after it, so it gives no real count, and Square Enix has published no production figure. The store tries to deliver "on or near release date" and says it has no control over the carrier; international shipments "could take up to 5 weeks". Pre-orders by Apr 7, 2027, 23:59 come with the Summoning Materia Sylph.

We expect the Collector's Edition to sell out before launch: a limited run of a statue edition for the end of a trilogy, sold by one store, rarely lasts until release day. Order early if you want it, and check your own region's Square Enix Store, since this page reads the US one.
